How do I create a profile?

Tap the "+" button on the Profiles tab and choose from 18 profile types including Personal, Child, Pet, Gardening, Vehicles & Equipment, Car Purchase, Travel, Caregiving, Health & Wellness, Projects & Work, Home Improvements, Home Purchase, Family Journey, Education Selection, Career Choice, Starting a Business, Product Selection, or create a Custom profile. Free tier allows unlimited profiles. Premium removes ads only.

Can I record in my native language?

Yes! Nuviame supports 60+ languages including Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and many more. Go to Settings → Voice Recognition Settings to change your recording language. Your entries will be transcribed in the language you speak.

What languages does the AI Chat support?

Speech-to-Text: Supports 60 languages for voice recording and transcription. Local AI (Qwen 3): Works in 29+ languages (8 languages get explicit optimization: English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic). Cloud AI: OpenAI and Gemini support all languages you configure. The AI Chat Assistant respects your voice recognition language setting.

How do I enable iCloud sync?

Go to Settings → iCloud Sync. Make sure you're signed into iCloud on your device. All data is end-to-end encrypted.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data. This permanently removes all your considerations from your device and iCloud.

How does AI chat work in Nuviame?

Nuviame offers an AI Chat Assistant that can discuss your entries. You can choose between on-device AI (Qwen 3) for complete privacy, or connect your own OpenAI or Gemini API keys for cloud-powered conversations. The AI can answer questions about your entries, provide insights, and help you explore your considerations through natural conversation. All AI chat features are available for free!

Is my data private when using AI chat?

Yes. When using on-device AI (Qwen 3), all processing happens locally on your device - nothing leaves your phone. When using your own OpenAI or Gemini API keys, your conversations are sent directly to those services using your own API credentials. We don't see or store your API keys or conversations. What other features does Nuviame have?

Nuviame includes many features: Text-to-Speech (listen to entries with customizable voices), Sequential Playback (play multiple entries like a podcast with shuffle/repeat), Siri Shortcuts (quick access via voice), Export (7 formats: Complete Backup, JSON, CSV, PDF, Audio Archive, Photo Archive, Media Archive), Reports (generate and export as PDF/CSV or send to Notes), Media Storage Stats (monitor storage usage), Daily Reminders (notification reminders), and more. How can I use Nuviame for health tracking?

Create a Health & Wellness profile to track symptoms, medications, doctor visits, and lifestyle changes. Record voice notes in your native language (60 languages supported) after appointments or when symptoms occur. Use the AI Chat Assistant to discuss your health entries and get insights. Export reports as PDF to share with healthcare providers.

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

Free tier includes unlimited profiles, voice recording, on-device AI chat, labels, search, iCloud sync, and the ability to connect your own AI API keys. Premium removes ads. All core features are available for free!

Can I use my own AI API keys?

Yes! You can connect your own OpenAI or Google Gemini API keys in Settings → AI Chat Setup. This gives you full control over which AI service processes your conversations. On-device AI (Qwen 3) is also available and requires no API keys. You can also enable "Cloud AI for Labels" to use OpenAI/Gemini as a fallback for label suggestions.

Can I use Siri with Nuviame?

Yes! Nuviame supports basic Siri shortcuts. Say "Hey Siri, open Nuviame" to launch the app, or "Hey Siri, summarize my journal in Nuviame" to get a summary of your entries. You can also use the iOS Shortcuts app to create custom automations.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings → Data Management → Export. Nuviame offers 7 export formats: Complete Backup (ZIP with all data), JSON (for developers), CSV (spreadsheet), PDF (formatted document), Audio Archive, Photo Archive, and Media Archive. You can select specific profiles, date ranges, and media quality options. Reports can also be exported as PDF or CSV, or sent directly to Apple Notes.

Should I rely on AI chat for important decisions?

No. AI chat is for reflection and exploration purposes only and should not be considered professional advice. Do not rely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions. Always consult qualified professionals for important life matters.
